EKO HERI PURWANTO. Uji Ketahanan Beberapa Klon Karet (Hevea Brasiliensis Muell Arg.) Terhadap
Penyakit Lapuk Cabang
Dan Batang Fusarium (Dibimbing oleh NURHAYATI dan ABDUL
MAZID).
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk
mengetahui ketahanan beberapa klon karet terhadap infeksi Fusarium sp penyebab penyakit lapuk batang dan cabang. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium
Fitopatologi Jurusan Hama dan Penyakit Tumbuhan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas
Sriwijaya dari bulan Maret sampai Juni 2010.
Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang
terdiri dari enam klon karet RRIM 712, PB 260, PR 261, IRR 44, BPM 24 dan GT 1,
dengan tiga ulangan. Setiap ulangan
terdiri dari 4 tanaman karet yang diinokulasikan inokulum Fusarium sp. dengan cara sisipan. Parameter yang diamati meliputi
masa inkubasi, keparahan penyakit, dan jumlah daun gugur.
Klon karet yang paling
tahan terhadap penyakit lapuk batang dan cabang yang disebabkan oleh Fusarium sp. adalah klon IRR44 dan klon
karet yang paling rentan adalah klon PB260.

sp. Infections The Pathogen of Rotted Stems and Branches Diseases (Supervised by NURHAYATI
and ABDUL MAZID).
The objective of this research is to
know the resistance of six rubber clones
to Fusarium sp. Infections, the pathogen
of Rotted Stems and Branches diseases.
The research was conducted at Fitophatologi Laboratory and the Greenhouse,
Plant and Pest Diseases Department, Faculty of Agriculture Sriwijaya University
from March to June 2010. The research
was arranged in Group Randomized Design (GRD) which consists of six rubber
clone RRIM 712, PB 260, 261, PR IRR 44, BPM and GT 1, with three replicates.
Each test consists of 4 rubber plants which was inoculated inokulum fusarium in
a parenthetical manner. Parameters observed were include incubation period, the
severity of the disease, and the number of leaves tall
The results showed that certain types of
rubber clones have varying resistance against Fusarium sp. Iincubation period longest found on IRR44 clone for
19.75 days and the skotes incubation period was on PB260 huras 10 days. The
highest severity of the disease also occurs in rubber clones PB260 as that of 82.50%
and the lowest severity of the disease occurred at a plant of rubber clones of
the 42,33% IRR44. The number of leaf fall most heavily on rubber seedling
clones RRIM712 as that of 73,81% while the amount of leaf autumn bottom rubber
clones seedlings occurred at IRR44 as that of 21,33%. A symptom of an attack of branches and trunks
rubber characterized by the presence of nekrosa that is colored bright brown on
the surface of his skin then become putrid, which are blackish in color dry and
death. On the leaves, symptoms also initiated by the presence of nekrosa, then
leaves will wither, dry up and die.
Most rubber clones resistant to disease over the
stem and branches caused by Fusarium sp are clones IRR44 and rubber clones the
most vulnerable are the clone PB260.
